“UPDATE: The investigators in this case worked around the clock to identify and locate the suspects in this senseless murder. Through their tireless work, Sacramento Police patrol officers, K-9, SWAT, Problem Oriented Policing, air unit, and investigations arrested a 15 year-old male and a 16 year-old male in connection to this homicide. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — On Sunday, June 23, 2024, just after 2:00 p.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to the 400 Block of Arden Way following reports of a shooting. At the scene, officers found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses," the Sacramento Police Department stated. "The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time."

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after notifying next of kin.
