​SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN)— Sacramento police have arrested a man suspected of firing multiple rounds into the ABC10 television station building on Broadway earlier this week.

Police said the suspect, 64-year-old Anibal Hernandezsantana of Sacramento, was arrested early Saturday after investigators identified a suspect vehicle and traced it to a residence in the 5400 block of Carlson Drive.

Hernandezsantana faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm. He is being booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, according to Officer Anthony Gamble, a spokesperson for the department.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Broadway. At least three bullets struck a window at the ABC10 building, which was occupied at the time. No injuries were reported.

The motive remains under investigation. Police said the FBI provided resources in support of the case.
