SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — Four people, including a young child, were injured in a shooting in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood on Wednesday evening, according to police.
Officers responded just after 6 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 3300 block of 9th Avenue, Sacramento police said.
In a preliminary statement, police spokesperson Anthony Gamble said four victims were located at the scene, including an approximately 4-year-old child. All were transported to area hospitals and were initially reported to be in stable condition.
Police have not released information about a suspect or what led to the shooting. The investigation remains in its early stages.
